Fish Bowls and Tanks

An aquarium setup can vary from small fish bowls to large fish tanks and even to large public aquarium. Bowls and tanks vary in sizes from smaller to bigger ones.
Bowl shaped aquarium known as fish bowls vary in size that has the minimum capacity to hold 1 litre. Fishbowls are of various sizes from 1/2 gallon to 3, 4gallons. A gallon fishbowl holds upto 4 litres of water.
Fish bowls are more comfortable for fishes like guppies, betta(fighters) etc., It is because of the reason that it is hard to provide an aeration device to fish bowls. Fishes like gold fish require constant supply of oxygen and hence it is unsuitable to live in fish bowls., There are also mounting fishbowls available which also serves as attractive wall display. Mounting fishbowls are easy to mount and can be placed out of children reach.
Betta fishes are the best fishes to survive in fishbowls as they require less care. Betta fishes are one of the most attractive fishes. Betta fish can survive without filters and heater. Sometimes guppies also could not survive in fish bowls as they tend to be in a warmer environment.
Bettas are the most colorful, attractive fish with their long, flowing fins.
Its really loving to watch betta swim around in fish bowls.

Tanks also vary in sizes that has the minimum capacity to hold. Fish tanks are of various sizes from 2.5 gallons to hundreds of gallons. Mini fish tanks holds around 10 litres of water. Nowadays we can see aquarium been set up in various shapes. Other than usual rectangular tanks we can also see cylindrical , hexogonal and various other shapes of tanks. These tanks are made to fit our comfort and environment. Glass tanks and acrylic tanks are available. Acrylic tanks are more stronger than glass tanks. So i think friends its now easy for you to determine what type and size of tank fits your requirement the most.
